On 29 December 2006, history was created in Sandalwood when Ganesh starrer “Mungaaru Male” was released. It broke each and every box office record and is also credited for getting family audiences back to the Kannada film industry.
After 11 years, the makers of Ganesh starrer “Chamak” are planning to release their film on the same date. They are hoping to create history again. Since the film is yet to receive its certificate, the production house and the director are unable to officially announce the release date, but they are working towards it.
The film directed by Suni, features the actor as a gynaecologist along with Rashmika Mandanna. The film’s music is composed by Judah Sandy and cinematography is by Santhosh Rai Pathaje. Suni’s last film as director, “Operation Alemelamma” was a box office success.
