Kiccha Sudeep’s “Mukunda Murari” has opened well. The film starring two superstars Upendra and Sudeep has got good reviews. Even though the film has been criticized by a section of audience for making almost a xerox copy of the original film “Oh My God”, it is doing well at the box office.
Upendra is the biggest asset of the film. His dialogues delivery and mannerism is the biggest positive in the film. Sudeep’s matured performance as Lord Krishna is also good. Music by Arjun Janya is soothing.
Nandakishore has done a good job. But a bit more changes in the screenplay could have made the film a better product. After making a grand debut with original film “Victory”, he directed three back-to-back remakes, which has upset a certain section of the audience. His next two films are “Tiger” (original) and “VIP” (remake). It’s high time he starts concentrating on original films.
