Bengaluru: ‘Power Star’ Puneeth Rajkumar (45) has been admitted to ICU in Vikram Hospital in the City after he suffered a chest pain and came into hospital at 11.30 am on Friday October 29.
He complained of chest pain at 7.30 am during his workout.
Puneeth christened as Power Star by his fans is fondly known as Appu among his close circle and fans as well. He is the son of legendary actor Dr. Rajkumar and Parvathamma. Making his debut as lead actor in movie Appu in 2002, he has acted in over 29 Kannada films so far cementing his position as one of the top actors in the Kannada industry.
His film debut was as a child actor when he was six months old in the thriller film Premada Kanike (1976). His career as a child artiste too was a successful one with him winning National Award as the Best Child Artiste for the movie Bettada Hoovu (1985).
