Mangaluru: The Lakumi Cine Creations Tulu movie ‘Ekka Saka’ produced by Kishore D Shetty lit up silver screens across the twin districts on Friday, May 1.
B A Vivek Rai, Litterateur and folklorist inaugurated the formal ceremony by lighting the lamp at Jyothi theatre here.
The movie released in 11 theatres namely including at Jyothi theatre. The other cinemas where it was released are Big Cinemas, PVR, Cinepolis in Mangaluru, Kalpana in Udupi, Inox in Manipal, Amarashree in Moodbidri, Radhika theatre in Karkala, Nakshatra in BC Road, Aruna theatre in Puttur and Bharath in Belthangady.
Both the lead actors are new to the film industry. Hithesh Naik and Sonal Monteiro play the lead roles opposite each other. Sonal Monteiro had spoken exclusively to Newskarntaka earlier – Veteran artistes like Aravind Bolar, Tennis Krishna and Achyuth Anand, add their experience to the movie and enhance its value.
