Upendra and Shashank have confirmed that the two of them will be working together, with the latter as the director. Not only will shashank be directing the film, but he will also be producing it under his home banner. This will be Shashank’s second film as a producer and ninth film as a director.
The film will be a message-oriented entertainer and will give importance to the dialogue. It is said that the film will go on floors in March, the script for which has been completed. The pre-production work has started in full swing and soon, details regarding the remaining cast and crew will be announced officially by the makers.
Upendra has been part of Shashank’s films in the past. He has sung songs in Shashank’s films such as “Krishna Leela” and “Jarashanda”.
Meanwhile, Shashank’s “Thayige Thakka Maga” is scheduled to release on November 16. The film, starring Ajai Rao, Ashika Ranganath and Sumalatha has been given an ‘A’ certificate.
