Film industry, fans to celebrate 48th birth anniversary of Appu

Power Star Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar, fondly called ‘Appu,’ was one of the most well-known actors in the Kannada film industry. He passed away in October 2021 due to a heart attack. The actor’s passing came as a shock to fans all across the world. Since then, both fans and the film industry have honoured the late actor in several ways.

The 48th birth anniversary of Puneeth will be celebrated on March 17. It should come as no surprise that the late actor’s fans want to celebrate his birthday this year in every way possible.

#DrPuneetRajkumar has been trending on Twitter on Thursday March 16. Twitter users have expressed their wishes and happiness to honour Puneeth’s birthday.

“He left no stone unturned to entertain us leaving behind a mammoth mountain of achievement as an infinite source of inspiration,” wrote a user.

Another person said, “Mangalore is getting ready to celebrate the man who inspired so many people across the country.March 17th will give festival vibes across Karnataka.This is the way to celebrate the day which deserves special celebration.”

The Kannada Film Director R. Chandru reportedly decided to pay Puneeth Rajkumar a special tribute on his 48th birthday. Chandru has reportedly planned to release his upcoming film Kabzaa on March 17. Baana Dariyalli, which stars Ganesh, will also be released on the same day as Kabzaa.

“GG: Gandhadagudi – Journey of A True Hero,” a documentary starring Puneeth Rajkumar will be released on OTT platform on March 17. The film will now be accessible on Amazon Prime Video In the movie. Puneeth Rajkumar expresses his love for nature and his nation. In a captivating musical journey, Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar collaborates with passionate wildlife filmmaker Amoghavarsha.

On March 17, the same day as actor Puneeth Rajkumar’s birthday, the Kannada movie Kantara will be screened at the UN in Geneva, Switzerland.
