One of the most essential actions you can do to maintain your health is to eat a healthy and balanced diet. By decreasing blood pressure, managing weight, controlling cholesterol, and managing blood sugar levels, a nutritious diet can help minimise your risk of heart disease and stroke. This is one of the most essential elements of a healthy diet. Fruit and vegetables are rich in nutrients and help you maintain a healthy weight by making you feel filled for longer. At every meal and snack, place fruit and vegetables on half of your plate.

Protein-rich diets help maintain and build healthy bones, muscles, and skin. Regularly eat protein. Try to have two portions of fish or more plant-based foods every week. Drink water instead of sweet drinks. Unsweetened, lower-fat milk is another excellent source of hydration. So that you can fill up wherever you are going, keep a reusable water bottle in your handbag or vehicle.

Begin by making small changes to your diet. Nutrient-dense meals should be included in each meal and snack, and junk food should be avoided.
