Kolkata: BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya, who was admitted to a city hospital on Thursday night with chest pain, was declared stable on Friday.
The 75-year-old underwent coronary angiography on Thursday night.
A five-member medical board kept a close watch on Dalmiya, who continued to be in the ICU. A medical update from the hospital said Dalmiya was clinically in better shape. He was being monitored with medication.
Dalmiya began his second term as BCCI president last March. He served the BCCI as its secretary and successfully hosted two World Cups in 1987 and 1996.
