Formula 1’s 75th anniversary season launch event at London’s O2 Arena was a star-studded affair, bringing together the 10 teams, their drivers, and a host of celebrities. The event featured lively moments of glamour, comedy, and music, leaving F1 fans buzzing with excitement for the 2025 season.

One of the most anticipated moments was the appearance of seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, who made his first public appearance as a Ferrari driver. His stage entrance alongside Ferrari team boss Frederic Vasseur was met with thunderous applause. McLaren’s drivers, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, were also on hand, standing proudly next to their team’s 2025 livery as defending constructors’ champions.

The event was hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall, who added humor to the night, entertaining the crowd with jabs at the teams and drivers. The energy peaked when Red Bull unveiled their stunning new livery, with Max Verstappen energizing the crowd with waves.

The evening was further spiced up by performances from singer Tems, who was accompanied by an orchestra as she played during Aston Martin’s James Bond-themed launch. Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll of Aston Martin also made their appearance, waving to the audience in a jubilant atmosphere.

There were also notable appearances by former F1 champions Damon Hill and Nigel Mansell, who shared laughs on the red carpet, and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, who gave his thoughts on F1’s swearing rules during the live show.

The teams showcased their 2025 liveries, from Racing Bulls’ near all-white design to Williams’ revamped look with Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon. Sauber’s striking green livery also caught attention as part of the team’s vibrant new look.

The event wrapped up with a performance by the iconic British band Take That, bringing a lively end to an unforgettable evening full of excitement and anticipation for the upcoming season.
