Gaurika Bishnoi of Delhi secured her first win of the 2024 season at the 7th leg of the Women’s Pro Golf Tour (WPGT) held at Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf Club (JWGC) in Mysuru on Saturday. With a remarkable hat-trick of birdies in the last three holes, Gaurika produced the week’s best round of 4-under 66, totaling 1-under 209.

Gaurika, who was tied for third after the second round and started the day two shots behind the leader, overtook overnight leader Khushi Khanijau of Jaipur, who cracked under pressure with bogeys on the 16th and 17th holes, finishing at 2-over 212. This gave Gaurika a three-shot lead, securing her victory.

Amateur Mannat Brar of Chandigarh delivered a superb final round of 3-under 67, ending tied-third with Mysuru’s Vidhatri Urs, who shot 71 on the final day. Both finished at 4-over 214.
