Before their upcoming third T20I against Zimbabwe, the Indian cricket team, along with their families and support staff, took a break from their cricketing duties to visit a wildlife sanctuary. The Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) official ‘X’ handle shared images from their outing, stating, “The BCCI, in collaboration with Zimbabwe Cricket and Zimbabwe Tourism, organized a Wildlife Tour for the Indian Cricket Team and their families in Harare.”

Additionally, India’s squad will see reinforcements for the remainder of the series, with Sanju Samson, Shivam Dube, and Yashasvi Jaiswal joining the team. These players were integral to India’s T20 World Cup triumph in the USA and the West Indies.

Following delays in their return from Barbados, the BCCI had initially included Sai Sudharsan, Jitesh Sharma, and Harshit Rana in India’s squad for the first two T20Is. Sudharsan made his T20I debut in the second match but did not get a chance to bat.

Under the leadership of Shubman Gill, the young Indian team bounced back strongly after an initial setback, securing a resounding 100-run victory over Zimbabwe to level the five-match series 1-1.

The third T20I encounter between India and Zimbabwe is scheduled to take place in Harare on Wednesday, July 10.
