The chartered Air India flight ‘AIC24WC’, carrying India’s triumphant T20 World Cup team, has garnered global attention as the most tracked flight on Flightradar24. Departing from Barbados, it has become a focal point of excitement for fans eagerly anticipating the return of their cricket heroes.

Flightradar24 announced on X (formerly Twitter), “Our most tracked flight right now – T20 World Cup champions India on their way home.”

Real-time data from the flight tracking portal revealed that over 5,252 users closely monitored the journey of ‘AIC24WC’, symbolizing India’s triumphant return after winning the T20 World Cup 2024.

YouTube personality Mufaddal Vohra also shared updates, noting that 4,032 users were tracking the flight, highlighting the immense public interest in the team’s journey.

The flight’s call sign ‘AIC24WC’ represents more than just a routine journey – it symbolizes India’s historic World Cup victory (’24WC’ for T20 World Cup 2024), reflecting the nation’s pride in its cricketing achievement.

Team India is expected to land in New Delhi early Thursday morning, where they will be received by Prime Minister Narendra Modi before heading to Mumbai on a chartered flight.

In Delhi, the players will be honored by the Prime Minister and share breakfast with him.

The celebrations will continue with an open-top bus parade planned from NCPA, Nariman Point, to Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah will award the team the prestigious Rs 125 crore prize money for their outstanding performance.
