Jagadeesha Suchith marks new records

Mysuru: Left Arm Spinner Jagadeesha Suchith, marking new records in his home turf, Mysuru, emerged as the only bowler to take more than 10 or more wickets Wadiyar Karnataka Premiere League (KPL). On Tuesday, J Suchith emerged as the only KPL bowler to snap 10 or more wickets in two editions of KPL.
In KPL-2014, Suchith had bagged 16 and in the present edition he has bagged 10 wickets and going strong. Playing well with his willow, Suchith hammering fastest ever KPL 50 in just 15 balls have snatched the eyes of selectors. His 50 involved half a dozen sixes as well as three fours against Bijapur bulls. J Suchith’s aggregate of wickets in KPL 2015 read 10 wickets- his feat of ten wickets in this edition provide the 23rd occaion of a bowler capturing ten or more  wickets in a single edition of KPL. J Suchith’s ten wickets in KPL 2015 provide the third occasion of a Mysuru Warriors’ bowler capturing ten or  more wickets in a single  KPL edition. Other occasions are – J Suchith {16 in 2014] and VV Kumar {10 in 2014}.
Mysuru lad, left arm orthodox spinner Suchith made his debut at eight Indian Premier League representing Mumbai Indians also contributed his team to emerge as champions.

Out of the 13 matches he played, the lethal spinner has picked 10 wickets with the best figures of 2 wickets for 14 runs. He has maintained economy rate of 8.64 in the tournament. With impressive in batting as well, he has scored 48 runs in the tournament and with a best innings of 32 runs. He has remained not out five times. He has also taken 8 catches in the tournament.

Suchith started his cricketing career in Mysuru at a small age with Mysuru University Cricket Sports Club under the guidance Mansoor Khan. Later at the age of 13 when took up the game seriously shifted to Gymkhana cricket team which is oldest cricket camp of Mysuru. Gymkhana which is also known for contributing players such as international cricketer Javagal Srinath shaped up the budding talent. It was former Ranji cricketer Ravindra’s who guided him to become him as an effective bowler. At a major platform, he made his debut at the age of 12 and represented Mysuru zone in U-13 championship.

Impressing by his performances the left arm spinner evolved to the greater heights and also ensured his consistency by working hard on his bowling line.
