Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh: Ms. Pranjala Shetty of Karnataka brought laurels to the state by winning the bronze medal in the Kayak Slalom event at the 12th Junior National Kayak Slalom Championship, held at Maheshwar in Madhya Pradesh from January 13 to 15, 2026.

The championship saw the participation of talented junior paddlers from across the country, making the competition intense and highly competitive. Amidst strong national-level participation, Pranjala Shetty delivered a composed and technically sound performance to secure a podium finish.
