Bengaluru: Kristu Jayanti College Autonomous located in Kothanur, Bangalore became the winners of Bangalore North University inter Collegiate Basketball and Football Men championship 2022.
Football men championship (See featured Pic above:Rev. Dr.Augustine George, Principal , Rev.Fr. Lijo P Thomas, Vice Principal, and CFO with Football team and coaches) was held at St. Vincent Pallotti College campus. Kristu Jayanti College Autonomous bagged the tournament and the first match pre-quarter finals against SDC CollegeKolar with 2-0 goals. The second match quarter finals were against SBM Jain College KGF 3-0 goals and third match semi-finals against Dr. SR Chandrasekhar Institute of speech and hearing with 2-0 goals. The final round of the match against HKBK Degree College scored 5-3 goals.
The Basketball Men Category, held at AES National Gouribidanur College, the first match pre-quarter finals KJC won against SKV college of Physical Education Chikkabellapur with 40- 28 score. The second match quarter finals were against St. SDC College Kolar and won for 60- 42 scores. Semi finals of match were against St. AloysiusDegree College with the score of 50-30. The final match was against AES National Gouribidanurwith the score of 64-41.
