Indian star cricketer, Virat Kohli who is regarded as one of the greatest cricketers of all time is known for his run-scoring abilities and every game he plays often creates a milestone. Now, the legendary batsman surpassed the 25,000 international run mark.
Virat Kohli has reached the milestone while playing against Australia in the second test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy held at Delhi on 19th February.
Virat has completed this feat and becomes the sixth batsman to achieve it. The elite list is now led by Kohli as he has taken fewer innings to reach. Sachin Tendulkar, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardane, Ricky Ponting and Jacques Kallis are the other batsmen.
He has scored a massive 12,809 runs in ODI cricket, record 4,008 runs in T20I and 8,195 runs in Test, and he has an average of over 53 runs per match. Kohli has been the most impactful cricketer for both the country and the league team he plays.
The former Indian cricketer is also the leading run scorer in the domestic Indian Premier League and he is one of the leading athletes in the world when it comes to the number of fans and followers on social media platforms.
