Mysuru: Mysuru Warriors, the KPL team owned by NR Group after having a thrilling win over Hubbli Tigers, qualified for the semi-finals in this year’s Karnataka Premier League Twenty20 tournament. The team under the captaincy of Manish Pandey will play the semi-finals in Hubbli on October 1.
Mysuru Warriors so far undefeated in the tournament, had a smooth run in this edition of KPL where the team gave a spectacular performance leading to six victories in a row. Their hard-hitting and explosive performance on the field makes Mysuru Warriors one of the strongest contenders for this year’s KPL trophy.
Commenting on the qualification, Arjun Ranga, Managing Director Cycle Pure Agarbathies and owner of Mysuru Warriors said, “Mysuru Warriors has played fantastic cricket, both batting and bowling line of order has performed outstandingly and it makes us feel extremely proud. The Mysuru based team, who last won the KPL trophy in 2014 is all geared up for the semis. This last battle before the finals is an important match for Mysuru Warriors as this will decide their fate in the tournament further.
