New Delhi: The 8th edition of the IndusInd Bank Nagesh Trophy – Men’s National T20 Cricket Tournament for the Blind delivered a spectacular day of cricket on Wednesday, marked by high-scoring encounters, emphatic victories and outstanding individual performances across venues in New Delhi, Vijayawada and Gandhinagar. The results underlined the growing depth, competitiveness and professional standard of blind cricket in India.
Vidarbha edge past Manipur in Gandhinagar
In a closely fought contest at Gandhinagar, CAB Vidarbha registered a 13-run victory over CAB Manipur after posting a competitive 158/9. Vidarbha’s innings was built around a composed batting display led by Maniklal Dhikar, before their bowlers executed disciplined plans to restrict Manipur to 145/7.
Ganpat produced a match-winning all-round effort and was named Player of the Match for his decisive contribution with both bat and ball.

Goa hold nerve against Jammu & Kashmir
CAB Goa displayed composure under pressure to defeat CAB Jammu & Kashmir by 13 runs in another thrilling encounter at Gandhinagar. Opener Nilesh anchored the innings with a fluent 87 off 64 balls, guiding Goa to 170/8.
In response, Jammu & Kashmir were bowled out for 157, as Goa’s bowlers maintained tight control in the closing overs. Nilesh capped off an outstanding performance by also claiming three wickets, earning the Player of the Match award.
Andhra Pradesh dominate Uttar Pradesh in Vijayawada
At Vijayawada, CAB Andhra Pradesh delivered one of the most commanding performances of the day, crushing CAB Uttar Pradesh by 111 runs. Skipper T. Durga Rao (B3) led from the front with a magnificent 108 off 67 balls, powering Andhra Pradesh to a formidable 220/3.

Uttar Pradesh were then bundled out for 109, undone by incisive bowling and sharp fielding. Durga Rao was deservedly named Player of the Match.
Uttarakhand register massive win over Tamil Nadu
The most emphatic result of the day came as CAB Uttarakhand thrashed CAB Tamil Nadu by a staggering 155 runs. Captain Deepak Singh Rawat produced a scintillating knock of 128 off 75 balls, propelling Uttarakhand to a massive 232/6.
Tamil Nadu struggled in reply and were restricted to 77/7. Rawat’s all-round leadership earned him the Player of the Match award.
Delhi overpower Telangana; Jharkhand continue strong run
In New Delhi, CAB Delhi asserted their dominance with a 106-run victory over CAB Telangana. The highlight was a sensational unbeaten partnership between Rambir Singh (146 off 73 balls) and Sanjay Kumar Shah (98 not out), which lifted Delhi to an imposing total. Telangana finished on 161/6 in response, with Sanjay Kumar Shah named Player of the Match.
In another fixture at the capital, CAB Jharkhand defeated CAB Chandigarh by 97 runs. Jharkhand posted 222/9 before restricting Chandigarh to 132/9. A disciplined bowling effort, led by Ravindra’s 3/18, sealed a comprehensive win, with Sanjeev Kerketta earning the Player of the Match honour.
