Speaker UT Khader Opposes India-Pakistan Match

Ut Khader

Mangaluru: As India and Pakistan will clash at the T20 World Cup tournament in New York tomorrow, Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker U.T. Khader has opposed the match and called for India to completely boycott cricket matches with Pakistan, citing ongoing political tensions.

Khader criticized the decision to hold the match at a neutral venue, citing Pakistan’s past actions. He highlighted the lack of healthy relations between the two countries and argued that allowing Pakistani players to compete with India weakens the nation’s position.

He also mentioned that Pakistan has been barred from playing cricket with India in the country, questioning the logic of playing against Pakistani players outside the country if such interaction is unwelcome within India’s borders.

He also wished Team India success in defeating the rival nation and clinching the prestigious tournament.
