Former India cricket captain Virat Kohli is currently spending quality time at home in Mumbai with his wife Anushka Sharma, and their children, Vamika and Akaay. After a challenging series against New Zealand, where India was whitewashed 3-0, Kohli is gearing up for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy series against Australia, set to begin in Perth on November 22.
Recently, Kohli and Anushka were spotted enjoying a peaceful lunch at Benne Bombay, a South Indian café in Bandra, Mumbai. The couple, known for their preference for vegetarian food, opted for classic South Indian dishes like crispy dosas and idli podi, avoiding non-vegetarian fare, paneer, and Italian cuisine. The restaurant shared moments from their visit on social media, including pictures of the couple with the staff. Kohli also signed a cap for the staff with a personalized message, “Go Benne!”
In addition to their lunch date, the couple participated in a spiritual kirtan by Krishna Das during Karwa Chauth. Kohli, sporting a green sweatshirt and blue jeans, was seen enjoying the experience alongside Anushka.
On the professional front, Kohli recently announced a new partnership with Sporting Beyond, his new management team, on X (formerly Twitter). He expressed his excitement about working with a team that shares his values of integrity and love for sports.
