Mumbai: Jio users will now be able to use Canva premium design tools without paying any additional amount. Jio and Canva have partnered. Under this, eligible customers will get Canva Pro or Canva Pro Lite worth ₹4,000 free for 12 months. It can be activated through the MyJio app from September 16.
Which customers get which Canva plan depends on their Jio recharge plan. Canva Pro will be available on the ₹399 plan, while Canva Pro Lite will be offered on plans with 2GB of daily data priced above ₹349. There will be no additional charges or hidden charges for this offer.
This will directly benefit students, content creators, professionals and small businesses. With the help of Canva, designs such as school projects, social media posts, presentations, marketing materials and festive greetings can be created directly on mobile phones. Content can also be created in several Indian languages, including Hindi.
Canva Pro Lite comes with features such as millions of premium templates, photos, videos and fonts, Magic Resize and a background remover, along with 50GB of cloud storage. At the same time, Canva Pro will have additional features such as Canva AI, Content Planner, higher AI limits and 100GB of cloud storage.
Kiran Thomas, Chairperson of Reliance Industries, said that through this partnership, Jio aims to bring AI-powered design tools free of cost to millions of Indians. This will enable students, creators and small businesses to learn and work in the language of their choice, she said.
To avail the offer, eligible Jio users need to open the MyJio app and tap on the Canva offer. After this, they will be able to start creating designs directly.
