New Delhi: Microsoft has announced that it will discontinue its lightweight email application, Outlook Lite, on May 25, 2026, marking the end of support for the app designed primarily for entry-level Android devices.

After the shutdown date, users will no longer be able to access emails, calendars, or attachments through Outlook Lite, effectively rendering the app non-functional despite it still being installed on devices.

App to stop functioning completely

According to reports, while users may still be able to open Outlook Lite after May 25, all core services will be disabled. This includes access to mailboxes, calendar events, and file attachments.
