Trader Arrested in Mangaluru for Selling Fake Mosquito Repellent

The Bunder police have arrested a trader on Bibi Alabi Road in Mangaluru for selling counterfeit mosquito repellent under the brand name “Goodnight Gold Class.” The accused, identified as Dalram (33), is originally from Gujarat but resides in Mangaluru, where he owns a shop named Jai Vihat Enterprises.

The fake products were uncovered when representatives from the Goodnight brand conducted an undercover visit to the shop. After confirming the counterfeit items, a representative from the company filed a complaint with the Bunder police, leading to Dalram’s arrest.

The investigation revealed that the fake mosquito repellent products were produced between August 1 and 5, though the location of their production remains unknown.
