Some corny public humiliation is being meted out to a Cincinnati Reds fan! An anonymous man is depicted on a recently installed billboard in Covington, Kentucky, who is said to down “over 20 gallons of liquid cheese a year!”. The picture depicts the bespectacled, bearded man somberly eating mac and cheese from a tub.
Who was the mastermind of this lighthearted joke? Jonathan Pittman is a friend from northern Kentucky who lives across the river. Motivated by a chance observation of his friend chowing down on mac and cheese, Mr. Pittman took a picture and paid more than $1,200 to have it turned into a billboard. It’s going to be up for four weeks, poking fun at his friend’s infatuation with cheese.
In their “Who is Cheese Guy?” special report, WCPO 9 reported that Mr. Pittman declined to say whether his cheesy friend truly consumes that much mac ‘n cheese.
The station reported that Pittman simply “decided it’d be funny to put his friend on display.”
The billboard has garnered some traction on social media, with a picture of it shared on Reddit.
