The video captures a delightful scene where the baby elephant is seen joyfully kicking a ball around in the rain, persistently nudging it towards its mother, who strolls nearby, seemingly uninterested in participating in the impromptu football match. Despite the mother’s lack of enthusiasm, the baby elephant remains undeterred, repeatedly tossing the ball in her direction in an effort to engage her.

At one point in the video, the ball ends up in a muddy creek, prompting the little elephant to glance at the camera with a comical expression, as if to acknowledge its playful persistence. The video is accompanied by the caption, “Wan Mai tries to find a way to have her mother play soccer with her,” which adds to the endearing nature of the scene.

Social media users have flooded the comments section with their reactions, expressing their delight at the adorable interaction between the mother and calf. One user commented, “I love the squeaky vocals!! Precious baby,” while another noted, “Playing in the rain!! It’s so sweet to see childhood played out in these wonderful elephants just as it is in humans.”
