Swiggy, the prominent food delivery service, recently made a quirky update to its order tracking screen, replacing the traditional image of a delivery person on a bike with a ghostly figure chasing the delivery partner. This change has sparked a variety of responses from customers, including one who humorously remarked that the “delivery partner is playing Temple Run.”

A screenshot shared by digital creator Sanil from Pune showcased the updated screen, indicating that the order was on schedule to arrive in nine minutes, but with a spooky twist. Instead of a typical delivery scene, the display portrayed the delivery person being pursued by a spectral, ghost-like entity, seemingly in a frantic rush to complete the delivery.

Since Sanil’s post on July 11, it has garnered nearly 2,000 likes and continues to attract attention. Many users took to the comments section to share their reactions.

One individual joked, “Delivery boy Temple Run khel raha hai [Delivery boy is playing Temple Run].” Another shared, “I thought my delivery guy was being chased by a ghost (which was the intention, apparently).”

A third commenter remarked, “The delivery guy seems haunted by a ghost,” while a fourth humorously added, “I thought they had a ghost chasing after the delivery guy. I was ready with Hanuman Chalisa when he came for delivery.”

Reflecting the mixed reactions, a fifth user quipped, “Lol, seriously! I was thinking the same yesterday! Thought the rider fell down! Earlier one (man on the bike), was just right. Swiggy Cares, why this!?”

The playful alteration by Swiggy seems to have struck a chord with its users, prompting a lively exchange of comments and reactions across social media.
