Students in Shira staged a protest at the KSRTC bus stand on Wednesday, voicing their frustration over the lack of timely bus services. Many students traveling to Tumkur for school and college are facing difficulties due to buses not arriving on schedule. The situation has become a daily struggle for them.
Despite more than 200 passengers waiting at the station, buses have been conspicuously absent. The protesters insisted that their grievances would not be ignored until the depot manager addressed the issue.
After negotiations with the depot manager and police, the passengers and students eventually withdrew their protest.
