Karkala: In a swift breakthrough, the Karkala police have arrested Parikshit Sanjeev Gowda in connection with the brutal murder of Naveen Poojary at Kuntalpady, Karkala. The arrest was confirmed by Udupi Superintendent of Police Hariram Shankar, who stated that evidence is being collected to strengthen the case.

Investigations revealed that the accused and the victim were acquaintances. Both were married but had separated from their respective spouses and were living in a rented house.
