Mangaluru: In a strange twist to an ongoing case, Snehmayi Krishna, a petitioner in the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) case, filed a complaint with Mangaluru Police Commissioner Anupam Agarwal on Saturday. He accused supporters of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of using black magic against him to force him to withdraw his petition in the High Court.
Krishna claimed that the black magic rituals were performed to “control” him and his fellow activist Gangaraju. He asserted, “The black magic is meant to force me and Gangaraju to withdraw the case against CM Siddaramaiah and his wife, B. M. Parvathi, in the High Court,” highlighting his ongoing legal battle that seeks a CBI probe into the MUDA case.
The Karnataka High Court has already reserved its judgment on this matter. Meanwhile, the incident of black magic was reported on Friday in the Barke Police Station limits in Mangaluru, with police investigating the issue. Police discovered videos of animal sacrifices and black magic rituals on the phone of Ram Sena leader Prasad Attavar, who has been booked under the Karnataka Prevention and Eradication of Inhuman Evil Practices and Blackmagic Act.
In the videos, photos of Krishna and Gangaraju were placed before deities, with the blood of sacrificed animals poured over them. Krishna had previously complained about attempts to influence him with money to withdraw the case against CM Siddaramaiah’s family.
