Udupi: Anant Ambani visited the revered Kollur Mookambika Temple on Sunday and offered special prayers to Goddess Mookambika, drawing the attention of devotees and visitors at one of Karnataka’s most prominent pilgrimage centres.

Anant Ambani arrived at the temple along with the Ambani family’s spiritual guru and participated in special rituals conducted at the sanctum sanctorum. Temple authorities facilitated the visit and later felicitated him in recognition of his pilgrimage.

The visit was part of his spiritual itinerary and was carried out amid adequate arrangements made by temple authorities to ensure the smooth conduct of rituals and darshan.

Visit postponed due to weather conditions

According to sources, Anant Ambani’s visit had originally been scheduled for June 13. However, the programme was postponed due to heavy rainfall in Mumbai, which affected travel plans.

He subsequently arrived in Kollur on Sunday evening and offered prayers to the presiding deity. Devotees present at the temple welcomed his visit, while temple officials coordinated the special rituals conducted during his stay.

The temple, dedicated to Goddess Mookambika, attracts thousands of devotees from across India throughout the year and is regarded as one of the most significant spiritual destinations in southern India.

Prayers offered at Udupi Krishna Math

Following his visit to Kollur, Anant Ambani also travelled to Udupi Krishna Math, where he offered prayers and sought blessings.

The visit to the two renowned religious centres reflects the Ambani family’s continued association with spiritual and religious traditions. Devotees and visitors gathered at both locations to catch a glimpse of the industrialist’s son during his pilgrimage.
