The achievement has brought laurels to Udupi district and added another milestone to Monteiro’s distinguished journey in stamp collecting.

Silver at Boston-2026
Daniel Monteiro won a silver medal at the Boston-2026 World Philatelic Exhibition held in Boston, USA, for his exclusive collection of duck-themed postage stamps.
His carefully curated exhibit showcased rare and distinctive stamps featuring ducks from different countries, earning appreciation from the international jury and fellow philatelists.
