Udupi: Canara Bank’s Circle Office, Manipal, in collaboration with Regional Office 1, Udupi, will organise a two-day Retail Expo at the MGM College grounds in Udupi on October 24 and 25, offering customers home and vehicle purchase options along with convenient loan facilities.

The expo, now in its 10th year, aims to help customers fulfil their aspirations of owning a house or vehicle during the festive season. It will bring together vehicle dealers, builders, housing companies and solar dealers, allowing visitors to explore products, compare options and access financing facilities at a single venue.

The event will be open to the public from 10 am to 8 pm on both days, and entry will be free.

Home, vehicle and solar options under one roof

The expo will feature leading car and two-wheeler dealers, builders, house construction companies and solar dealers from Udupi district. Customers will be able to explore a range of products and services while learning about the loan facilities available through Canara Bank.

The initiative is intended to make the process of purchasing a home or vehicle more convenient by bringing sellers and financing options together. Customers interested in house construction, buying residential property or purchasing a vehicle can use the expo to understand the available options and discuss their financial requirements.

Special purchase offers, attractive discounts and assured gifts will be among the attractions. Visitors will also have an opportunity to win prizes through a lucky draw.

Spot loan sanctions available

Speaking about the initiative, Canara Bank Circle Office, Manipal, general manager H K Gangadhar said the expo would bring together leading dealers and housing-related businesses, enabling customers to explore various products and services in one place.

He noted that owning a house remained an important aspiration for middle-class families and said Canara Bank was facilitating this through the retail expo. He also highlighted the growing importance of vehicles in everyday life and said the event would include both two-wheeler and four-wheeler dealers.

Gangadhar urged the public to take advantage of the facilities and participate in large numbers. He added that spot loan sanctions would also be available to benefit customers.

The availability of on-the-spot sanctions is intended to make the financing process more convenient for eligible applicants. Actual approval will depend on the bank’s assessment and applicable loan requirements.

Customers planning to apply for loans at the expo have been advised to carry the necessary documents to facilitate processing.

  • Income tax return documents for the last three years
  • Salary slips for the last six months
