Residents of Kakkunje village in Brahmavar taluk, Udupi, are deeply worried as Bhaskar (45), employed in woodcutting, has been missing since June 18. His wife, Vimala (40), reported that Bhaskar left home around 11 am that day, assuring her he would return shortly. However, he has not been seen since.
Bhaskar, known to suffer from diabetes and high blood pressure, has previously left home sporadically but has always returned within a reasonable time. This prolonged absence has exacerbated concerns among family members and neighbors alike.
Vimala has taken swift action by filing a missing person report with the Kota police station, urging authorities to investigate and locate her husband promptly. The local community has rallied together, organizing search efforts and distributing flyers to raise awareness about Bhaskar’s disappearance.
Authorities are actively pursuing leads and conducting searches in nearby areas, including questioning acquaintances and checking local hospitals. Family members remain hopeful for Bhaskar’s safe return and appeal to anyone with information to come forward and assist in bringing him back home.
