Udupi: In a vibrant show of fitness and solidarity, the Udupi District Police organized the Fit India Cycle Jatha on Sunday, drawing participation from over 100 police personnel.

The event was flagged off by Additional Superintendent of Police Parameshwara Hegde at Jodukatte. The cycling rally coursed through key city routes including Ajjarakadu, Brahmagiri, Bannanje, Karavali Bypass, and the City Bus Stand, before culminating at Board High School.

Led by Udupi Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Prabhu DT, the jatha aimed to promote physical fitness and well-being among the force and the general public, aligning with the national Fit India Movement. The enthusiastic turnout and disciplined participation highlighted the police department’s commitment to leading by example in matters of health and lifestyle.
