Udupi: Shekhar Paddu Bangera, former captain of the Indian football team passed away due to Covid-19 on Thursday June 10 at the age of 74.
He was admitted into Mahesh Hospital Brahmavar for treatment after testing Covid positive. But the treatments failed to save his life.
Shekhar, who hails from Badanidiyooru was the Indian football team’s goalkeeper cum captain.
