Udupi: Following the Congress party suffering Lok Sabha election defeat, a ‘Go Back’ campaign has erupted within the Udupi Congress. In response to the Congress party’s humiliating defeat in the constituency, party workers have directed their frustration towards district in-charge Lakshmi Hebbalkar.
The campaign, gaining momentum on social media, sees Udupi Congress workers voicing their discontent and demanding a change in leadership. Accusations against Hebbalkar include claims of her absence during election and critical times when problems were at peak in the district.
Party workers are actively sharing ‘Go Back’ posters, expressing their dissatisfaction with Hebbalkar’s performance and urging for her replacement.
