On the morning of July 25, a disturbing incident unfolded in Manoor, under the jurisdiction of the Kota police station, when a group of intruders, disguised as police officers and officials, arrived in two cars and attempted to enter a residence. The Kota police, led by Udupi SP Dr. Arun K, have since intensified their investigation into the matter.

In response to the incident, the police have formed three specialized teams to probe the case, with investigations extending to Mumbai, Shivamogga, Bengaluru, and other locations. Initial reports suggest that the incident might be linked to a business dispute. The intruders are suspected of intending to intimidate or extort money from the homeowner, who is known for being involved in various business dealings.

Another theory is that the robbers, masquerading as police and IT officials, planned to stage a dramatic scenario to force the residents to disclose their valuables, including gold and cash, before tying them up and robbing the house.

As five days have passed since the incident, public curiosity about the intruders’ motives and identities remains high. SP Dr. Arun K has stated that the investigation is ongoing and no further details are available at this time.
