Udupi: The Ganesh immersion procession in Katapady became a lively spectacle as members of the Sangama Friends team, led by Jayakar Kunder, dressed up as popular characters from the Kannada film Su from So. The trio – Bava, Guruji, and Sulochana – entertained spectators, drawing widespread attention and applause.

The procession, organised by the Katapady Public Ganeshotsava Committee, was held with grandeur, accompanied by music, dance and vibrant cultural displays.

Every year, the Sangama Friends team is known for captivating the public through innovative costumes during Ganesh celebrations. This year, the choice of characters from Su from So was a tribute to the film, which has earned a unique place in the Kannada film industry.
