Udupi: State Congress Campaign Committee Vice President Kimmane Ratnakar emphasized the need to actively communicate the ideological foundations of the Congress party to the public. He was addressing the Udupi District Congress Campaign Committee meeting held at the city hall.
Ratnakar pointed out that while the Congress achieved recent victories in Karnataka, they largely stemmed from the administrative shortcomings of the BJP rather than a widespread understanding of Congress values. “This success cannot be taken for granted. We must now focus on educating the public about the ideological contrast between the Congress and the BJP,” he stated.
He praised Rahul Gandhi as a leader with a clear vision and deep ideological commitment, adding that the Congress is fortunate to have someone dedicated to system reform and inclusive development.
Also present at the meeting were State Campaign Committee President Vinay Kumar Sorake, District Campaign Committee President Alevoor Harish Kini, former MP K. Jayaprakash Hegde, KPCC spokesperson Munir Jansale, District Congress President Ashok Kodavoor, and senior leaders Prasad Raj Kanchan, Ramesh Kanchan, Kishan Hegde Kollebail, Dinesh Putran, and Diwakar Kunder.
The event served as a strategic call to Congress workers to strengthen the party’s presence by connecting with people at the grassroots level through ideological clarity.
