Shekhar (60) from Kodlady village, who was swept away in flood waters during heavy rains two days ago, was found dead on Thursday evening. After attending a wedding in Siddapura on October 7, Shekhar was returning to Amparu when he was washed away while crossing a lake amidst heavy rains and strong winds.
His body was recovered from Kodgi lake, and a case has been registered by the Shankernarayana police.
