Manipal: The Manipal police have registered a case against Navin for allegedly using abusive language and insulting Traffic Inspector Manjappa D.R. during a recent protest near the District Commissioner’s office.

On August 5, a protest was held near the DC’s office concerning the Parashurama Theme Park issue. During the protest, Navin reportedly used derogatory language and insulted Inspector Manjappa, causing mental anguish. A case has been filed against Navin under relevant sections of the law.

Eyewitnesses described Navin’s behaviour as unacceptable and unbecoming, with his actions seen as a clear attempt to intimidate and humiliate the traffic inspector. The police have taken cognisance of the matter and are investigating the incident.

The public has expressed outrage, condemning Navin’s behaviour as unacceptable. The police have assured that appropriate action will be taken against him based on the investigation’s findings.
