Udupi: Adan Klion, a commerce student of MGM Pre-University College, Udupi, has earned a place in the district team for the State-Level Lawn Tennis Championship to be held in Chikkodi.
His selection follows an impressive performance at the district-level lawn tennis championship organised under the Department of Education. The district-level event was hosted by Tenkanidiyoor Government Pre-University College.
First state-level qualification for college
Adan Klion’s selection marks a significant milestone for MGM Pre-University College, as he is the first student from the institution to qualify for the state-level Lawn Tennis competition.
His performance at the district championship earned him the opportunity to represent Udupi district at the next level. The achievement has brought recognition to the college’s sporting talent and has been welcomed by the management, faculty and students.
The state-level championship will provide Adan with an opportunity to compete against talented players from across Karnataka.
