Kundapur: The mortal remains of 50-year-old Alwyn Prakash Kundar, a resident of Honnanakeri within Kundapur municipality limits who was mysteriously murdered in Sharjah, are scheduled to arrive in his hometown on Friday, September 25.

His mortal remains were flown out of Sharjah at around 11 pm on Thursday, accompanied by relatives and representatives of the company where he worked. The flight is expected to arrive at Mangaluru International Airport on Friday.

Body found inside car in Sharjah

Alwyn Prakash Kundar had been working as a senior manager at Terminal 2 for a private aviation company in Sharjah for the past 14 years.

On August 12, his highly decomposed body was found inside his own car parked on Al Amin Road in Sharjah.

The discovery shocked his family and the local community in Kundapur, particularly because of the circumstances in which the body was found.

Details regarding the circumstances leading to his death and the investigation into the murder remain unclear.

Wife and son missing

Adding to the mystery surrounding the case, Alwyn’s wife and son, who had been residing with him in Sharjah, are currently missing.

Their disappearance has raised questions about the circumstances surrounding Alwyn’s death and the whereabouts of his immediate family members.

The case has reportedly caused concern among relatives and friends in Kundapur, who are awaiting further information about the investigation in Sharjah.

The arrival of Alwyn’s mortal remains in his hometown is expected to allow his family and relatives to conduct the final rites.

Relatives await arrival

Alwyn had spent 14 years working in Sharjah’s aviation sector and was reportedly serving as a senior manager at Terminal 2 of a private aviation firm.

His mortal remains were transported from Sharjah with the assistance of relatives and company representatives.

The body is expected to reach Mangaluru International Airport on Friday before being taken to Honnanakeri in Kundapur for the final rites.

The circumstances surrounding the murder, including the disappearance of Alwyn’s wife and son, remain the subject of investigation.
