A motorcyclist, Nizam (22), was killed instantly when his bike collided with a tipper at Pulkeri near Karkala on July 29. Nizam, the son of Imtiyaz from Halakkikere in Karkala village, worked as a mechanic.
The accident occurred around 10:30 am as Nizam was traveling from Sanoor towards Karkala. Near Pulkeri, he attempted to overtake an autorickshaw and collided with an oncoming tipper. The impact threw him onto the road, where he fell under the tipper’s wheels, resulting in his immediate death.
The Karkala city police have registered a case regarding the incident.
