Udupi: The Udupi Jamaate Islami Hind announced the launch of a state-wide campaign titled “Peace Be Upon Prophet Muhammad”, scheduled to run from 3 to 14 September.

Addressing a press conference, Nisar Ahmed, President of the Udupi City Branch, said the initiative seeks to:

  • Spread the Prophet’s teachings on justice and humanity

  • Correct misconceptions surrounding his life

  • Strengthen interfaith harmony among different communities

  • Release of new books

    As part of the campaign, Shanti Prakashan will release two new books focusing on the life and messages of Prophet Muhammad. These publications aim to provide factual insights and foster greater understanding of his principles.

    Activities planned across Karnataka

    During the 12-day campaign, various events and outreach initiatives will be held, including:

    • Social service activities

  • Interfaith dialogues and seminars

  • Public meetings

  • Essay competitions

  • These events are expected to attract participants from multiple communities, encouraging conversations around mutual respect and peaceful coexistence.
