Social worker Nityananda Olakadu extended timely support to Fakiravva (75) and her two grandchildren, who were found distressed near Krishna Math in Udupi.
Fakiravva, originally from Bagalkot, had traveled to Udupi searching for her missing son, who has been untraceable for over a year. She has been offered refuge at the Hosa Baduku Ashram.
As per instructions from the District Child Welfare Committee, her grandson Hanumantha (10) has been placed at Boys Bhavana in Doddanagudde, while her granddaughter Prema (16) is now under care at Girls Bala Bhavana in Nittur.
This act of kindness underscores the importance of community support for vulnerable individuals.
