A major fire broke out near Sri Babbuswamy Daiva Mandir at Vidyamanya Nagar in Doddanagudde, Udupi, around 2 pm on Wednesday, March 19. The incident is suspected to be an act of arson by miscreants.
The fire quickly spread due to the intense afternoon heat, dangerously approaching a high-tension power line.
