A chain-reaction accident involving three cars occurred on NH 66 at Muloor on Sunday night, leading to extensive damage to the vehicles.
A car traveling from Udupi to Mangaluru lost control due to stagnant water on the highway and crashed into the vehicle ahead. This car then hit another vehicle in front. Two of the cars ended up in the bushes beside the highway, while the third stopped on the roadside.
Fortunately, with minimal traffic at the time, further damage was prevented. All occupants sustained only minor injuries.
