In the early hours of September 14, an electric two-wheeler and a TVS Jupiter scooter parked outside a house in Moodubettu, near the Ulthoor-Halthoor road, were destroyed in a fire. Around 4:30 am, the electric scooter parked in front of Bhagirathi Shedthi’s house caught fire, which quickly spread to the nearby scooter. The flames also damaged the house’s electricity meter, windows, and tiles. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Residents woke up to a loud explosion and, with the help of neighbors, managed to prevent further damage. Kota police are investigating the incident.
