Udupi: Ganesh Pai (42), the proprietor of the well-known Jyothi Winding Shop in Thenkapet, Udupi, sadly passed away on Wednesday night at a private hospital following a brief illness.
A resident of Pilichandi Marg in Beedinagudde, Pai had reportedly fallen ill a few days earlier and was admitted for treatment. Despite medical efforts, his condition did not improve, and he breathed his last late in the night.
Pai was a familiar face in the local business community, especially known for his skill and service in the motor winding sector. His sudden demise has left friends, customers, and fellow traders in shock and mourning.
He is survived by his wife, young daughter, mother, sister, and brother, who are deeply grieving the unexpected loss.
